Shell-N-Tube make FALCON series Rigid & ANACONDA series Flexible Super Insulated, Vacuum Jacketed pipelines & hoses are extensively used to transfer volatile, temperature sensitive fluids from point of storage to point of use without appreciable product temperature loss as prevalent in conventional non vacuum insulated piping, due to ambient heat leak.

The initial cost of a vacuum jacketed super insulated cryogenic product transfer system piping is often considered a major drawback while deciding in its favor when compared to cheaper insulation options. Shell-N-Tube manufactures both rigid (FALCON) and flexible (ANACONDA) vacuum jacketed pipes in size ranges from ½ inch to 3 inch for flexible and ½ inch to 8 inch for rigid systems. Hybrid pipeline systems incorporating both rigid and pipeline sections are routinely designed and implemented to meet specific process and site limitations.
